Henry Boltinoff

BOLTINOFF, HENRY est né le 19 février 1914 à New York. Il est mort le 26 avril 2001 à Lake Worth (Floride).

Il étudie au Art Student League de New York et débute par des caricatures pour le New York American et des dessins humoristiques pour divers magazines.

Il créé plusieurs séries, notamment pour DC comme Young Doc Davis dans World’s Best en 1941, Daver and Clover en 1943, Stoker the broker en 1959, Hamid the hypnotist (B'Habba le Fakir) dans Tales of Unexpected, Peter Puptent dans My Greatest Adventure, Hy Wire and Trucksy dans Superman, Professeur Eureka, Ollie dans Action Comics dans les années 60, etc. (traduction dans les revues d'Arédit/Artima, Interpresse et Sagédition).

Pour le KFS, il dessine Nubbin (scénario de Jim Burnett) en 1958.

En 1960, il réalise le dessin animé Woody Forest.

Il dessine Hocus Focus en 1989-92.
